We Worked Hard This Week...No, Really!

This week was a great experience for us...we had a team from YWAM Brisbane come here for a week of lectures that Jeremy taught. Their group is called Bush to Beach - they travel around with almost 30 people for three months and receive teachings at all different places in Australia. We searched hard for the perfect spot to have the lectures - and God really provided for us in a cool way. We were able to rent this place which is right at the ocean! The views were absolutely beautiful!!! Big B and I helped set up the tables, chairs, speakers and sound system. Big B especially loves to serve so he was "moving and shaking". We had five days of 4-hour classes. J taught on the Holy Spirit - it was AMAAAAAAZING! We witnessed some exciting breakthroughs in the students. J is so gifted in teaching. We learned so much. I felt like my thirst for more of God was being quenched with what I was learning and hearing. I'm still trying to absorb it all! We knew we were in our "element" - exactly where we're supposed to be for this moment. Friday night we all went to the park and beach at Airlie for a night of outreach and "Sausage Sizzle". Big B cooked up the "sausages" (i.e. hot dogs) on the "sizzle" (i.e. grill). We offered the free food to people that were hanging around the area and gave us an opportunity to evangelize. It was a long, satisfying day!
